Co-Chairmen Announced for the 2018 Patriot Shootout of Alabama

Former Chief Executive Officer of Alabama Power, Elmer B. Harris, and Rear Admiral USN, Retired Dennis M. Brooks /Governor, 2006-2007 Rotary District 6860 will serve as Co-Chairmen for the 2018 Patriot Shootout of Alabama.

Alabama’s Business & Military Leaders are “Standing With” the Folds of Honor Foundation www.foldsofhonor.org.

Business Executive and Political Strategist Elmer B. Harris and Admiral Dennis M. Brooks along with the Folds of Honor; a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled soldiers, are joining forces to host the 2nd Annual Patriot Dinner and Shootout of Alabama.

Folds of Honor awarded 110 scholarships, totaling $450,000 to Alabama recipients for the 2017/2018 academic year

Activities kickoff on March 18th with the Patriot Reception & Dinner The Program will Honor an Alabama Veteran, Recognize Alabama’s Scholarship Recipients’ and Remember the 119 Alabama Warriors who have fallen since 9/11.

The Patriot Shootout, “Changing Lives Through the Game of Golf” follows on Monday, March 19th at Greystone Founders Course; site of the Regions Charity Classic, with an afternoon of golf, special events, awards party and live auction.
